Christina Hendricks is an American actress best known for her role as Joan Holloway in the seven seasons of the AMC's historical drama series Mad Men (2007-2015). Her performance received praise from the critics in the series and received nominations for six Emmy Awards in the category of the best supporting actress. Through her professional career with over two decades, she's been recognized for her role on the legal-drama Kevin Hill comedy series Another Period crime-drama The series Tin Star and comedy-crime series Good Girls. The actress is well known for her appearances in Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River Neon Demon Strangers Prey At Night Egg, American Woman and The Neon Demon. The voice of her character has been featured in animated movies like Toy Story 4, Scoob!, and From Up on Poppy Hill. It began her career as a model and would continue to model for many years, before making her TV debut with the 1999 collection Undressed. It was her first notable character in the comedy-drama show Beggars and Choosers. After that, she was praised for her role on Firefly. Esquire Magazine awarded her the title of most beautiful woman in America and one of the most sexiest women in the entire world for 2010.
