Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania. She is an actor from Romania and Germany. Her most famous films are Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. She was the sole child to Romanian actress Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra entered the world of show business early, and ended up playing lead roles in different shows on television by the time she was sixteen. The role she played as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue in Downfall (an Oscar-nominated historical war film) was both critically and highly rated commercially. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are the other Oscar nominated films that feature models. Alexandra is well-known for her participation in a variety of important projects in both the US as well as internationally. This includes the British biographical films Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time as well as the French historical miniseries Napoleon among others. In addition, she has been an adjudicator at the Transylvania International Film Festival as in The Cannes Film Festival.
